Successful bidders will be part of a group of 10 survivors attending the renowned Toscana Saporita Cooking School in Tuscany, April 22 through 28. The experience includes hands on cooking lessons; afternoon excursions and tours to local towns; all meals, including 3-course candle light dinners paired with prized Italian wines; double occupancy accommodations in a 15th century villa; and roundtrip airfare to Rome or Milan from major cities in the United States.

The retail value of the package is $4,000, with bidding starting at $2,500. All proceeds from the charity auction will benefit Cook for the Cure, which has raised more than more than $4 million to date for the cause*.

Available last year only to survivors who attended a Komen for the Cure gala, this year's auction will be accessible to all breast cancer survivors nationwide on eBay Giving Works. Bids will be accepted for four sequential online charity listings starting February 14. Those interested should enter the search term "Cook for the Cure" on eBay's web site (ebay.com) to access the listings.

About Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure and launched the global breast cancer movement. Today, Komen for the Cure is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Komen Race for the Cure, we have invested nearly $1 billion to fulfill our promise, becoming the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world. For more information about Susan G. Komen for the Cure, breast health or breast cancer, visit www.komen.org or call 1-800 I'M AWARE.

*During its 2006 program (March 1, 2006 - February 28, 2007), KitchenAid will make a minimum donation of $500,000 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation through its select pink countertop appliances promotion and in- store October promotion. See www.cookforthecure.com for details.
