Whirlpool brand's latest offerings aim to solve the top problems consumers turn to their appliances for while saving them time, money and effort. Below is a look at how the brand will help consumers get more done in 2008.
Get More Done in the Laundry Room
Driven by consumer insight, Whirlpool brand announces the debut of the Cabrio® Steam dryer -- an innovative enhancement to the No. 1 selling, top- loading high-efficiency washer*. The Cabrio® Fabric Care System offers increased productivity for time-pressed consumers that want a top-load laundry pair with front-load efficiency and the benefits of steam. MSRP $999-1099 for the washer and $849-949 for the dryer.
Out of the White Ages and Into Living Color
As laundry rooms continue to migrate out of the basement and into the living areas of the home, Whirlpool brand announces the addition of three new colors to its vibrant, nature-inspired palette. Tuscan Chestnut, Ocean Sapphire and Classic Red front-load laundry pairs will join Aspen green to complete the brand's first line of signature colors. MSRP $699-1599 depending on model.
Reduce Kitchen Clutter
A recent consumer survey found the top five objects which cause clutter on the refrigerator are magnets, photos, calendars, personal reminders and shopping lists. To help consumers get a handle on clutter, Whirlpool brand developed the centralpark™ connection, a refrigerator that provides a plug- and-play platform for consumer electronics -- now available with a CEIVA Digital Photo Frame. The brand will show additional concepts to battle kitchen clutter including the Clio® Vu web tablet, Cozi family organizational software, Brandmotion iPod speaker system and Quartet Qnote™ Message Center. Prime Kitchen Real Estate
Capitalizing on a growing trend in American refrigeration, Whirlpool brand introduces a new French Door refrigerator with an external ice and water dispenser, an extra tall humidity-controlled crisper, a caddy for tall bottles and a can pack keeper to store a case of beverages. MSRP starting at $2,199.
Steam and Efficiency Meet in the Kitchen
To ease oven cleaning, help consumers get more done and save energy, Whirlpool® brand introduces its new electric ranges featuring the SteamClean option. Additionally, Whirlpool brand equipped two ranges in the series with the industry-first Energy Save mode which conserves electricity when the oven is not in use. MSRP: $699.
