In a recent consumer survey, Gladiator® GarageWorks found that nearly half of respondents who own cars do not shelter their car in the garage. The study also found that households with children are less likely to keep their car in the garage versus households without children (54% versus 46%) underscoring the importance of garage organization as your family grows.
"The garage is such a natural shelter for cars yet so often people are forced to park their cars outside exposed to the elements because of lack of space and disorganization," said Lou Ann Schafer, senior marketing manager, Gladiator® GarageWorks. "Whether its tools, sporting equipment or surplus household items that need shelter in the garage, Gladiator brand offers a variety of scalable, durable solutions ranging from tool chests, hooks and bins to specially designed appliances."
In addition to organizational products, a Gladiator branded bike built by the Orange County Choppers will be on display at the Potomac Garage Solutions booth. Recently, Gladiator brand contracted with the custom chopper builders to do an "on-air" bike build to highlight the Gladiator brand products. Elements of the brand's products were incorporated into the custom chopper including the tread plate steel design and hammered granite paint finish of the Gladiator® Cabinets and Tool Storage units. Each day of the show, Gladiator brand will give away copies of The Fine Art of the Custom Motorcycle written by William G. Scheller and autographed by Paul Teutul, Sr. of Orange County Choppers.
During the show, attendees will have the chance to win a two-piece stacked tool chest from Gladiator® GarageWorks, autographed by Paul Teutul, Sr. The tool chest, which helps consumers organize tools which often get lost in the garage, consists of a 7-Drawer Roll-Away featuring a reversible side-push handle and heavy-duty casters, steel ball-bearing drawer slides and cushioned drawer liners and the 6-Drawer Tool Chest featuring a secure interlock mechanism that requires the lid to be open before the drawers can be engaged, a divided top till, steel ball-bearing drawer slides and cushioned drawer liners.
Gladiator brand will also feature and give away product that can help consumers green their garage in line with the show's focus on environmentally friendly automobiles. Gladiator® GarageWorks' ENERGY STAR® qualified Chillerator® Garage Refrigerator is designed for the harsh environment of the garage. The Chillerator® Garage Refrigerator features 14 cubic feet of refrigerator space and 5 cubic feet of freezer space and stands up to extreme humidity and temperatures.
