BENTON HARBOR, Mich., July 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Jenn-Air is teaming up with PFLAG National to host HOT! on Wednesday, July 23rd from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Founded in 1972 with the simple act of a mother publicly supporting her gay son, PFLAG National is the largest organization of families, friends, and allies - united with people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) - to move equality forward.
The evening fundraiser, being held at the Jenn-Air showroom at 222 East 59th Street, will feature gourmet appetizers, refreshing summer cocktails, and a silent auction for exclusive experiences and luxury goods. The evening's special guest is Food Network star Anne Burrell, whose culinary expertise ranges from selecting executive chefs in "Chef Wanted" to leading a team of home cooks through culinary boot camp in "Worst Cooks in America." Burrell will be on hand to mingle and capture photos with guests, each of whom will receive a complimentary autographed copy of her latest cookbook, Own Your Kitchen: Recipes to Inspire & Empower.
Tickets for the event are priced at $100, with all proceeds benefitting PFLAG National. The silent auction is expected to raise additional funds for the organization.
