BENTON HARBOR, Mich., Dec. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Whirlpool Corporation announced the transformation of a logistic center that the company currently owns into a new manufacturing facility in La Tablada City, located in Buenos Aires Province. The announcement was attended by Francisco Cabrera, Argentinean Production Minister, and other government officials. This new facility will generate 300 direct and indirect jobs in the country.

"The innovation and growth of local industry is the basis of the public agenda for the economic development of the country," explained Francisco Cabrera, Argentinean Production Minister.
